  • CSULB FLORENCE SEMESTER — FALL 2018

    The Center for International Education is currently accepting applications from CSULB faculty who have an interest in teaching in the CSULB Florence Semester Program in fall 2018.

    The Florence Semester Program was initiated in fall 2016 in partnership with CSU Fullerton. Each campus sends at least one faculty member to teach two home-campus GE courses in Florence, Italy.  Students are recruited from both campuses and may enroll in any combination of classes from either faculty member. Faculty also act as faculty of record for a beginning Italian language and culture course (taught by an adjunct faculty member in Florence) and supervise any students who choose to enroll in an internship in Florence (for a total of 12 WTU).

    Faculty members teaching in this program are expected to relate their instruction, to the greatest degree possible, to the Italian setting.

    The deadline to apply is Monday, October 16, 2017. Interviews will be conducted in late-October.


    CSULB LONDON SEMESTER — SPRING 2019 

    The Center for International Education is currently accepting applications from CSULB faculty who have an interest in teaching in the CSULB London Semester Program during spring 2019.

    The London Semester Program has been running since 1986 in partnership with CSU Fullerton. Each campus sends one faculty member to teach two home-campus GE courses in London. Students are recruited from both campuses and may enroll in any combination of classes from either faculty member. Faculty also act as faculty of record for a British Life and Culture course and supervise any students who choose to enroll in an internship in London (for a total of 12 WTU).

    Faculty members teaching in this program are expected to relate their instruction, to the greatest degree possible, to the London and U.K. setting.
