International Education & Global Engagement
  • As the result of CSULB winning a competitive grant funded by the U.S. State Department, the university hosts an official on-campus Peace Corps Recruiter. In partnership with the Center of International Education (CIE), Global Studies Institute, and Career Development Center, the recruiter will work with the Los Angeles Peace Corps Regional Recruiting Office to recruit, advise, and educate potential volunteers.

The recruiter promotes the Peace Corps in the local community to prepare future volunteers for an enriching experience representing the U.S. internationally. Since winning the grant, CSULB has become one of the leading producers of Peace Corps volunteers.
