International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
CSULB celebrates IEW every year and this year IEW 2016 is scheduled to take place from November 14-18, 2016.
Students, Staff, faculty and community members are invited to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange by:

Graduate students in math education present their study abroad experiences in Germany and participation in an international conference.

Visit student and department booths offering snacks, activities and information about different cultures. Watch global performances. Enter in an opportunity drawing for a prize!
Location: USU Beach Auditorium
A fascinating showcase of drumming and dance from four African countries. This event is free and there will be free African food.
THE CSULB Art Exchange Program
Interested in studying art in China? Come and hear about experiences in CSULB exchange program with the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in China.

Our ALI international students will be sharing topics that showcase specific aspects of their cultures. Take a tour around the world without leaving campus by visiting poster sessions!

A panel of professionals from international education, development and business backgrounds will discuss career paths, advice, and tips for students interested in pursuing globally related careers. Join the discussion and ask questions about possible global careers.
Education in China
Location: AS 124-B
Three visiting scholars from China will present insight on education in China. Refreshments provided.
CIEats is our first edition cookbook for and by our students. One winning recipe will be awarded a special prize.
