international F-1 and J-1 visa students to enroll in health insurance
coverage before the first day of classes. For instructions on how to
enroll, review the steps below or view the video that follows.

CSULB requires new students to show proof of immunity within the first semester of classes. The requirements vary depending on what type of student you are. For more information about the immunization requirements, please visit the Student Health Services page.
If you are unable to provide proof of immunization, you will need to receive the vaccinations at the CSULB Student Health Services (SHS) center upon your arrival. You will be given an appointment date and time during orientation. If you are able to provide proof of vaccinations please scan and email your records to: email@example.com.
In your email to Student Health Services, please include the following information:
Subject line: ALI Student
Include your Full Name, Date of Birth, and Country of citizenship and include where you will be living (off-campus or dorms).Don’t forget to attach your immunization records!
A nurse from CSULB will review your records and then will get in contact with you.
