The Welcome Packet includes important information and materials, like your Welcome Letter, SEVIS I-20 form, Program Newsletter, Campus Map, and Meet & Greet form. 


    Health Insurance

    California State University, Long Beach requires all international F-1 and J-1 visa students to enroll in health insurance coverage before the first day of classes. For instructions on how to enroll, review the steps below or view the video that follows.


    CSULB requires new students to show proof of immunity within the first semester of classes. The requirements vary depending on what type of student you are. For more information about the immunization requirements, please visit the Student Health Services page.

    If you are unable to provide proof of immunization, you will need to receive the vaccinations at the CSULB Student Health Services (SHS) center upon your arrival. You will be given an appointment date and time during orientation. If you are able to provide proof of vaccinations please scan and email your records to:
