The camp package is designed to provide interaction opportunities for children to practice Chinese, develop a good understanding of Chinese culture, and enhance social skills. Located on CSULB's campus, the courses feature a bilingual format with instructors who are native Chinese speakers.

  • Time: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

For a more immersive, in-depth Chinese learning experience, the Confucius Institute will also be offering the 'Chinese Bridge' Summer Camp for U.S. high school students to travel to China. The two-week trip begins on June 24, and provides students with Chinese language classes, culture classes (such as paper cutting, calligraphy, ink and brush painting, tea ceremonies, and martial arts), sightseeing, meetings with Chinese students, and other cultural experiences.
