Financial Affidavit and Projected Costs

CSULB charges fees based on class standing (undergraduate vs. graduate) and not by majors or academic program. Please note that some programs may charge additional fees.  The following figures are based on our estimate of fees and are subject to change by the Trustees of the California State University and are usually increased each academic year.

Admitted applicants must turn in a completed financial affidavit and bank statement to verify that necessary funds are available for immediate study in order to receive a form I-20.

Sample Tuition Fee per semester

International students on a student visa (F-1) must follow federal regulations to maintain their student visa status. Undergraduate (bachelor) students must have a minimum of 12 semester units, and graduate (master) students must have a minimum of 9 semester units to meet the requirement.

Undergraduate F-1 students are required to enroll in 12 units per semester:
