Certificate Program

Prerequisite: Basic computer and pointing device operational skills including the ability to navigate files within a Windows-based operating system. An understanding of architectural terms and drawings is recommended.

Gain the competitive advantage and improve your business with Revit Architecture 2008, the state-of-the-art building information modeling (BIM) system. This Autodesk Revit 2008 Level 1 program will enable you to create full 3D architectural project models and set them up in working drawings. In this program, you will be able to naturally design the way you think a structure should look and make changes easily with Revit's parametric change technology.

Who Should Attend?

  • Architects
  • Engineers
  • Facility designers
  • Individuals with architectural drawing experience who need to know Revit

You Will Learn:

  • Basics of the integrated 3D modeling, design, and documentation system
  • How to create basic design details (i.e floors, windows, etc)
  • Setting up levels and grids
  • How to manage changes and modifications of the project with documentation
  • Utilization of the tools in Revit Building

How Do I Complete the Certificate?

  • Attend all class meetings.
