MARINE TERMINAL OPERATIONS PROFESSIONAL™ (MTOP)

A PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION PROGRAM

In collaboration with Marine Terminal Operators CITT has developed a comprehensive professional designation program for the marine industry.

The Marine Terminal Operations Professional™ program addresses all aspects and areas of terminal operations in a rapidly changing operational environment.  The program is structured in independent modules for students to select training in the areas of their choice:  vessel operation, container terminals, break bulk, RoRo, bulk, maintenance and repair, and/or cruise terminals. 

The MTOP™ professional designation is awarded to those who successfully complete all modules and demonstrate efficiency in terminal operations.
Modules include:

•  Overview of Terminal Operations
•  Labor Relations
•  Marine Container Terminal Operations
•  Other Marine Terminal Operations (Break Bulk, Bulk, RoRo, Cruise)
•  Regulatory and Environmental Issues
•  Safety & Security
