HazMat Training
Online Program

National and international regulations govern the transportation of dangerous goods. Individuals involved in preparing ground, air and ocean shipments must understand transportation regulations to ensure safe transport of goods, comply with regulation, and avoid penalties and possible delays associated with noncompliance. Employers are required to train those employees responsible for the transport of dangerous goods in their job functions.

CITT in partnership with Transportation Development Group is pleased to offer online hazardous materials training programs for companies and their employees seeking a flexible training program. The courses are self-paced and can be completed anytime and anywhere.

All courses include DOT HazMat Safety and Security Awareness training. DOT HazMat Security Awareness Training covers the minimum required training for DOT HazMat security requirements. (49 CFR part 172 Subpart I). This component of the course can be completed in 40 minutes.

DOT HazMat Safety Training covers emergency response information and how to use the North American Emergency Response Guide. This component of the course can be completed in one hour and is not a substitute for OSHA Workplace Safety Training (i.e. HazCom or HAZWOPER Training).

Note:

Customized on-site training is also available. Please contact CITT at 562-985-2872 or email alogan@ccpe.csulb.edu.
