About CITT

The Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT), housed at The College of Continuing and Professional Education, is a multidisciplinary center for multifunctional transportation studies and integrated logistics research, education, training,  policy analysis, and community outreach.

METRANS Transportation Center

METRANS is a US DOT University Transportation Center awarded to a partnership of the University of Southern California and California State University, Long Beach.

CITT Alumni Network

The Alumni Network provides you the opportunity for continued growth and development and allows you to give back and plant the seeds of success for others. Through this online community you can gather with like-minded professionals and keep informed of CITT programs, projects, and activitites.

Alumni Spotlight: Hernan Carlos Vazquez Guillamet

Hernan Carlos Vazquez Guillamet graduated from the Global Logistics Specialist International program at in June 2012. He came to CSULB to complete the certificate program from his hometown of Granada, Spain. “I had been looking for a course that fit my importing needs for a while, and I finally chose CSULB after searching for similar courses,” Hernan said. He recently came back to California to promote his olive oil brand, Barrera, through his company, Harvest Imports, LLC. Read more
