The Advanced Media Production Center

The Advanced Media Production Center is a full service, award winning video and digital media production facility. The center provides the campus, community, and businesses with a wide variety of professional, award winning media production services in support of educational and promotional needs.

Services include consultation, planning, design, development and implementation of media projects in video production, web service and support, computer graphics, and animation. The AMP Center also operates and programs Beach TV, the university's cable television channel.

Advanced Media Production at California State University has produced a one-hour documentary on Long Beach's rich history in regard to World War II. The documentary follows the historical trends that resulted in Long Beach becoming one of the country’s top wartime cities for industrial development, jobs, and economic activity. This documentary has appeared on PBS stations.

AMP Tapes 2009 Distinguished Speaker William D. Cohan

William D. Cohan, former Wall Street senior banker and award-winning investigative reporter with knowledge and insight into the world’s current financial crisis, was the featured speaker at the third annual California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) Distinguished Speaker Series held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, in the campus’ Carpenter Performing Arts Center.
