Homestay agreements are between the tenant and the homestay provider; CSULB/CIE is not a party to any rental agreements and assumes no responsibility for any contractual violations. It is the responsibility of the tenant/participant to evaluate all housing options; including their potential roommates, landlord and rental agreements.
