The procedures for registering in classes via Open University is as follows:
- Select classes from the CSULB schedule of classes.
- If you are a CSULB student, fill out an Enrollment Application Form and submit it in person to the College of Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) along with the Spring 2012 Open University Registration Form. These forms are available at the CCPE Registration Office, Foundation Building (FND) or by clicking the links above.
- If you wish to select the CR/NC or Audit grade option, refer to the back of the registration form for instructions and deadlines.
- Please contact CCPE for deadlines. Payment is due at the time of registration. Fees for Open University are $299 per unit. There is also a $5 ID service fee charged by CSULB as well as a possible liability fee of $8.
Spring 2012
Registration for Spring 2012 Open University will be accepted in-person beginning on Monday, January 23, 2012. Students must obtain instructor and department chair permissions to enroll in a class.
If you are currently admitted to the University and are classified as a matriculated student, you do not qualify for Open University. You must register through CSULB Enrollment Services.
