How to Register

The procedures for registering in classes via Open University is as follows:

1. Select classes from the CSULB schedule of classes, available http://my.csulb.edu.
   
2. Secure a open university registration form from College of Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE).  Both Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 session registration forms can only be obtained on the first day of instruction.  The form is either available at the CCPE Registration Office, Foundation Building (FND) or on our website.
   
3. If you wish to select the CR/NC or Audit grade option, refer to the back of the registration form for instructions and deadlines.
   
4. Please contact CCPE for deadlines. Payment is due at the time of registration. Fees for Open University are $237 per unit.

Fall 2009

Registration for Fall 2009 Open University will be accepted in-person beginning on Monday, August 31, 2009.  Students must obtain instructor and department chair permissions to enroll in a class.

Spring 2010

Registration for Spring 2010 Open University will be accepted in-person beginning on Monday, January 25, 2010.  Students must obtain instructor and department chair permissions to enroll in a class.

If you are currently admitted to the University and are classified as a matriculated student, you do not qualify for Open University. You must register through CSULB Enrollment Services.
