CEUs can enhance a resume and provide another opportunity to showcase your organization’s commitment to your employees’ professional development!
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are provided for many training programs at CSULB. CEUs are a permanent record of attendance in Professional Development (non-credit) programs and courses. They are awarded by The American Council on Education (ACE) and administered through The College of Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE). CEUs for specific professions are also available for select programs.
One CEU is provided for every 10 hours engaged in a learning activity. For instance, a 25-hour workshop would translate to 2.5 CEUs. CEUs are used mostly to satisfy employer and state licensure and certification requirements. CEUs also may be helpful to document specific job-related skills.
