Certificate Program

Prerequisite: Basic computer and pointing device operational skills including the ability to navigate files within a Windows-based operating system. An understanding of architectural terms and drawings is recommended.

Gain the competitive advantage and improve your business with Revit Building 9, the state-of-the-art building information modeling (BIM) system. This Autodesk Revit Level 1 program will enable you to create full 3D architectural project models and set them up in working drawings. In this program, you will be able to naturally design the way you think a structure should look and make changes easily with Revit's parametric change technology. Not all aspects of Revit Building can be explored in this introductory program. Many advanced features, such as creating component families, using worksets for team projects, and area analysis, are covered in the Revit Building 9 Level 2 program.

How Do I Complete the Certificate?

  • Attend all class meetings.
  • Complete a professional-level drawing project in Revit.

3 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be provided upon request as a permanent record of one's attendance, if requested by the last class meeting.

  • Working with curtain walls panels
  • Setting up sheets and printing
