The Richard Hollingsworth Professional Development Scholarship fund honors the memory of a visionary who believed passionately in education and self-determination and who was devoted to his community. Richard was a founding member of the Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT) Policy & Steering Committee at CSULB. As a member of METRANS' Advisory Board, he was an enthusiastic and creative voice for METRANS outreach programs.
College of Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) at California State University, Long Beach is extremely proud to honor Richard’s memory through the establishment of the Richard Hollingsworth Professional Development Scholarship Fund. The fund enables outstanding students in our community with limited resources to enroll in our most distinguished professional development programs.
Created in 1924, the club is a forum where transportation professionals, shippers and suppliers share solutions, foster relationships, and provide support for more than 200 members and the community. The LATC offers many benefits, including regular meetings, presentations, and special events. You can learn more from the Los Angeles Transportation Club web site, www.latc.la or call 562-856-9197.
