About CITT

The Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT) was established in 1977 in the College of Business Administration as the Center for Transportation Studies. In 1998 it was renamed and assigned to The College of Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) as a self-governing multi-function special unit at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). CITT is a University-approved, multidisciplinary center for multimodal transportation studies and integrated logistics research, education, training, and policy analysis, as well as community outreach.

CITT is a partner with the University of Southern California in the METRANS Transportation Center, a US DOT University Transportation Center (UTC), established in 1998 through the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21).
