Find out if you are academically eligible for a CSULB degree program through the Academic Eligibility process, often called Conditional Admission on other campuses.
Most university admissions offices will not review an application file until all of the required documents including a TOEFL score are submitted. However, by applying for Academic Eligibility through the American Language Institute, you can learn whether you are eligible for CSULB degree programs even if you do not have the required TOEFL score.
After applying, CSULB International Admissions staff will inform applicants if they are eligible for admission to a degree program. Admission is not granted until all requirements are met and the necessary documents are turned in before the deadline.
